This Privacy Policy explains how Pluddy (“Pluddy”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Pluddy mobile app.

What we collect

  • Account info (if you sign in): basic identifiers like email and (optionally) name.
  • Photos / camera input: plant photos you take or choose to upload for scanning, saving, or syncing.
  • Plant library data: saved plants, care schedules, logs, reminders, and related settings.
  • Purchases: purchase status/entitlements (Premium / scan packs) from Apple In-App Purchase via RevenueCat. We do not receive payment card details.
  • Diagnostics: crash reports and basic performance data to improve stability.

How we use data

  • App functionality: identify plants, generate care advice, save your plant library, and sync across devices (when enabled).
  • Purchases: verify purchase status and unlock features.
  • Diagnostics: troubleshoot bugs and improve performance.

Sharing & third parties

Pluddy uses trusted providers to run core features:

  • Firebase (Firestore/Storage/Auth) for accounts, syncing, and storing plant photos/data you choose to save.
  • RevenueCat to manage Apple In-App Purchase entitlements.
  • Apple In-App Purchase to process payments.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with data brokers. We do not share data for third-party advertising.

Tracking

Pluddy does not use data for “tracking” as defined by Apple (no cross-app tracking and no data brokers).
